A capital market can be used as an alternative financial source for the private sector and government while easing dependency on foreign finance.
Recently, House of Peoples Representatives has unanimously approved Ethiopia’s capital market draft proclamation.
“As we are at a stage where a vibrant private sector is starting to emerge, we have companies that are ready to be listed in the stock exchange,” Eyob Tekalign, the Minister of Finance said.
