"Dube Pay", a new Buy-now-Pay-later mobile app, will launch soon through a collaboration with Dashen Bank and EagleLion System Technology.
Dube Pay users will be able to make purchases on credit from merchants enrolled on the platform, including flight tickets, home appliances, apparel, electronic equipment, and others. It essentially performs the same function as a credit card and is expected to help consumers deal with cash shortages.
The Buy-now-Pay-later service is a short-term financing method that allows people to make purchases and pay for them at a future date in installments with minimal or no interest costs.
The app is said to create more marketing opportunities for merchants and will replace the traditional credit service with a modern one. Dube Pay app will be available for Android and iOS users in five languages.
